
We are a family run business with over 20 years experience in the ice cream trade, which trades under the name of Fotheringhams ice cream.
Our eldest son Jay has always shown a keen interest in the business and when he left school last year he felt igloo would be the perfect addition.
Since then Jay has mastered the art of making artisan ice cream and makes it fresh every morning on site before the parlour opens.


igloo was recently awarded three awards for our double cream vanilla, banoffee, carmel pie and peanut butter swirl at the UK 2016 Ice Cream Alliance.
We also reached the final three of the Scottish Golden Cone Awards. This was a campaign to find the country’s favourite place to enjoy ice cream.
igloo is also part of the Scotland Ice Cream trail, which lists the best ice cream parlours and shops around the country who sell the finest homemade ice cream.
